| PRESIDENTS REPORT APRIL 21, 2006 Did you hear the sigh? That was a collective sigh from all of us at Summer Sea. What do we see but our T-Dock being replaced and our Dock Extension in the water. Who says perseverance and persistence doesn’t pay off. A very special special thanks to our Dock Chairman Jim Ward and his committee. Well Done! Have you seen our web site, http://summerseacondo.com. Jonelle brought us into the 21st Century and it’s just the beginning. We can put information pertaining to Summer Sea minutes, events, progress, meetings etc. on the web site. Way to go Jonelle! It will save us money as well as the huge labor costs for these undertakings. We are developing plans 1 – 2 years and beyond today to afford us the ability to act rather than react. Of course this takes money but these projects will be researched and planned before your Board will reach a decision. Short Term Projects which are required and will necessitate an assessment are: Fire alarm, storm water berm, gates for the pool. Long Term Projects Refurbishing the pool and hallway bathrooms, enhancing our park with barbeque, benches, tables, and maybe even a Chickee, and walking trails. I would appreciate your input. Regards, Augie Cantin, President |
